I bought a new laptop with Vista on it and am having enough problems I want to just get rid of it and go back to XP, Is there anything that could mess up if I load XP on it?

if it is running vista it will run xp , i for one will NOT put vista on any machine i own or run as a network admin (over 400 ) until they come out with a service pack

Nothing will mes up assuming you have experience in running a clean install of an operating system. Vista and Xp were designed to be highly compatible.

If your machine has brand-new hardware (video card, for example) that was designed specifically for Vista, you may have some trouble finding XP drivers. If I were you, I'd check with hardware manufacturers before making the plunge. Good luck!
