I have recently been told I have been given the honor of being a godmother to my first god daughter, I have 3 godson's already, and love them all to bits, dont you think its nice when people think you are that good of a person that they trust you with their children, x

Its a lovely feeling to know that people like you so much, that they entrust you to being their childs godparent.
I'm a godmother to 3 other children and have two children of my own. x

I have 18 nieces and nephews who are all a similar age to me (my sisters are a lot older) and when I was 14 my eldest sister made me godmother to her 6th child - for me it was so special because even though I was young she made me feel very trusted and grown up knowing that I could have such an influence in this child's life it made me think more about my own actions as I went through my later teenage years. Please remember people out there godparents don't always need to be adults.

I agree. It is a very special honor. I have 2 Godchildren - both girls. I am sorry to say I don't see one very often. The other I see every holiday and three day weekend I can manage. Although I am not officially godmother to her twin brother, I have been made responsible for both of them in case anything happens to their mom.
Right now my husband and I are struggling with choosing godparents for our newborn son.

I myself have been a godmother ,, an it was my sisters first child so i was over the moon not only being a auntie but a god mother as well took my breath away,,

I have a God-Daughter. She is very special to me. I got to watch her come into this world! I was standing right next to the doctor when she was born. I was the first one to see her! It was amazing. I love her sooo much.
I have a 4 month old little boy and my husband and I have decided to have my sister and his sister be God-Mothers. They are both very close to us so we want to make sure they know they have a special place in my sons life!

I have a God-daughter. When my friend asked me none of us knew how special it would become because since then I've found out that kids are probably not going to happen for me and my hubby so I especially love having my God-daughter. She's fab.

I have two god sons and I love it. It's wonderful I buy them everything i can teach them all that stuff that there parents dont want to like picking there nose do homework with them some one to be a kid with and then give them back to there parents and start all over again

i thinks it the best feeling apart from your friends trusting you with there kids its the best honour some one can bestow on you.i have 2 god daughters one in Trinidad and one in the u.s and i treat them both like my own kids . so i can say Cherish every moment of begin a God parent.
