So theres this girl...we've been going to college together all year, we both developed feelings for eachother, and we have the most amazing time whenever we are together. I'd love more than anything to make her my girlfriend, but its not so simple.she got out of a 4 year relationship 3 months ago, and a month ago found out that she had been cheated on by her x while they were together, which obviously really upset her. But then She says she wont date me because she isnt totally over her last boyfriend, and because if we dated, she could see it being for a long time, which she says scares her. We clearly would make an awesome couple which upsets me every day. She is worth a long term investment, but should i wait for her to be ready? or should i save myself the current anguish i have every day that we arent dating...im a patient person, but its tough to have the connection we do and to just be friends....what should i do?

Don't look at it as "just being friends" Look at it as building a history, or building the relationship you want so badly. You don't have to put a label on something that is natural. Be there for her and when the time is right move forward. Have that "talk". Don't push her if she isn't ready but make sure she isn't stringing you along just because you like her so much.

give her a chance let her realize that she's missing out on something sooo.... wonderful ok first you have to act as if you move on don't date anyone or establish a relationship with anyone just hangout with her a little less and a little more with some other girl if you both make an gr8 couple she'll learn jealousy then if you notice that she keeps asking you to go places with you or that she seems a little more into you than usual ask her out see what she says if its yes then you know what to do if its no then i'm sorry but you got to move on and maybe your chances lay in the furture

Definitely wait for you! It is really hard to get through a long term relationship just like that...if she needs time then you should give it to her...if she really didn't want to give you a chance at some point she would have already told you so, to prevent you from wasting your time. But obviously she feels something for you as well, just give her time...The best things in life are worth waiting for, don't you think?

be her soft place to fall. keep a close relationship wit her and be the friends u guys have always been, but show her u can be more and do a lil extra, go the extra mile for her. try to advance at a slow pace but not too slow that itll get boring. but not too fast that shell feel offended. dont be afraid to date other girls, cuz she'll get jealous and relize how much she likes u. but dont date girls just to make her jealous cuz thatll get her mad. but if a good one cums around go for it and shell want u and maybe ull realize u like the new girl more. dont totally close ur dating doors completely, but still keep then wide open to her. best of luck!

u should definetly wait for this girl because if she so special to you that u long for her everyday then u obviously care for her alot and just keep reassuring her that youll be there for her and that u still like her and want a relationship constantly show her how good of a guy u r
