Hi, yes you can have them get along, first make sure they meet a few days before, on neutral ground. Have a fence between them with little or no tension on the leads. It is very important both owners are calm assertive and very relaxed. Do this a few times before they meet face to face. Keep a eye on their body language and make sure both are calm the relaxed. Head low ears back or relaxed a tail wag is a plus. It is also best to keep them the the kitchen as intact males tend to lift their legs to clam territory. Keep eyes out for food and toy agression. Good luck.

Border collies are known for being bossy...and poodles are hyper..i would take them to meet each other a few times before you leave him there..they might get on fine outside but its a different story when he goes on the poodles property...

Well sometimes a malecan want to be the boss i depends how long they have lived with u!!! if u just got them then they'll probably be friends if not it will take a while 4 them to bond!!
If it is a standard poodle poodle it might take longer
a toy poodle not as long
a minature it will be friendly even at the begining

For a week, that might work out OK, but I'd be prepared to provide separate living quarters if necessary. A week is probably just long enough to get acquainted. Over a longer period of time, though, it might be a problem, especially if there are any females close by in the neighborhood. Good luck :)

Yes you can if you are a strong Alpha figure for them... they will look at how you act.. but I would advise to never leave them alone together.
Two things usually cause dogs to fight with each other.. Being in the kitchen together and having toys out.
With a little knowledge you can help them get along..
GOOD LUCK

Introducing them on neutral ground is good but more importantly you cannot show emotion to either dog. Just be calm. Ignore them unless one starts demonstrating aggressiveness ie: tail up, body stiffness. Then correct that one. No need to yell. Just poke him and say no or whatever your correction term is. You're going to have to keep it up for the entire week. Remember no affection to them in front of each other. And it really has nothing to do with the breed.

Age could be a factor. Assuming they are fully mature, the odds aren't good. I would keep them separate and let them get to know each other a little at a time, over a long period of time, with some body's help to keep them apart, just in case.

My advise would definitely have them meet on neutral ground. As long as they are both well socialized dogs, they will probably be good companions. There may be an issue with a female in heat, but deal with that later. Just love them both.

I believe it will all depend on their attitudes, however one is going to become the dominant and one is going to become submissive. They may fight, they may not. We had two unfixed males living together and one knew who the boss was. It's a ranking thing I think.

First I think the thing you should do is let them meet at a place that neither of them dominate or have been so you can see the reaction but don't do it alone. Then if it works out it shouldn't be that bad.
