Hi everyone!
I am going to be filming my best friends wedding here in July, and I am looking for the best 'steady stick' to use. I'd like to use one that has more flexibility than a tripod, and is also pretty light. I want to achieve smooth video results, especially while walking. For example, following the Bride and Groom from the church to the limo ect. I will also be filming from high and low angles. I've seen the cheap one (est. $99) around the internet that attaches to your waist, but I don't really like it too much. Any suggestions? BTW The camera I'm using is a Sony HDR-FX1 Thanks for all help in advance!!

There's a good do-it-yourself article here http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/steadycam/

The author claims it cost him $14.

He also sells all the ready made bits for you to assemble http://littlegreatideas.com/steadycam/
