Hey everyone,
I am looking go to Australia before I go to university. however, there is a bit of a problem I do not want to travel on my own and all my friends are sooo boreing I was wondering if there was any groups of students or groups trips to Australia that do not involve WORKING I.e Camp America. If there is any work sites about groups travelling to Australia.

First.. Check out www.gapyear.com
Has volenteering.. treks .. meet ups.. etc.
and check out the boards as a lot of people there are going to Aus at some point.
Second. something like 50% of backpackers go by themselves... My cousin did and got chatting to something on the plane to Aus and spent months with her....
Hostels are the number one place to meet people... and the people are a lot lot more friendly and talkative than at home...
And the people who go by themselves seem to have a much better time.. meet new people... experiance a whole different way of life.
So don't dismiss it completely.. think about it.
I plan to go by myself.
