yes, if you are the only income. As a married couple, you have a mutual business concern recognized by credit companies and hence law as well...therefore yes you are liable. Are you separated? Go to Experian or someone else and indicate that you have a separation in progress heading towards divorce and wish to file for separate maintenance. If not, invest and make several purchases of vaseline-- you will be in a critical need of lots of it

It can be if you are still married, but usually they don't go after the spouse, but they can if you are married, and she doesn't work and she has your name somewhere on her medical bills, and it happened during your marriage versus before the marriage. I would question that though, since is kinda sneaky.
