I think you should maybe try switching diets. I'm not sure what you a afeeding, but if its Science Diet it sucks. My dog (a siberain) had bad diarrhea even before u got him from teh shelter where he was fed science diet. Make sire you feed a food tha doesnt have any corn or soy products. Ideally the BARF or RAW food diet is best.

The vomit sounds like bile vomit. It just means the tummy is empty and was anticipating food. You can break that habit by not having a feeding schedule and just feeding a various times. It will take a bit of time for the dog's stomach to forget feeding time which means the vomit will be more frequent for a bit.
The diarrhea is another story. Step one: new vet. This guy sounds like an idiot if he can't even tell you about bile vomit (whether or not he knew what it was is irrelevent to me). Is there a chance this dog is getting something you don't know about? Maybe a relative giving him snacks? Or snagging something in the yard? Eating a plant either inside or outside? Have you tried a grain free food or even a raw diet yet? Have you tried fasting the dog for a day? Sometimes that corrects diarrhea by simply letting the body settle down. The simple solutions are best to try first followed by the more drastic changes.
It could be Irritable Bowel Disease or Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD and IBS). Both can be cared for by carefully monitoring what goes in. I'd also have a TLI run on the dog for Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficency (EPI). That one must be cared for with supplemental enzymes for life. If the stool sample that was examined was more than a hour old, I'd have a fecal run again. Some parasites are unable to be detected unless the stool is very fresh. Giardia is one of them. You can actually have a vet 'go in' for the sample but the dog won't like it! I have provided links on IBD and EPI, for you.

Try a change in diet.. feed them something for *large breeds* and the cheaper dog food such as the store brands add to the diarrhea problems...
The yellow ick is stomach fluids and usually a hungry dog will do this... you could try open feeding so the stomach does not get totally emptied.
I would also try giving some egg and plain yogurt to the one with the vomiting problem...
I really don't like your vet either... but everyone else has given you advice on that... these are some ideas you can do in the interim...
I can tell you are very concerned about them..
Thank goodness they have you.
GOOD LUCK

Call the vet with an update. Say that the vomiting and diarrhea are still going on. If your vet doesn't seem to care, find a new vet.

Sounds like you have a pet with a sour stomach. I suggest changing you pups diet to one for sensitive stomachs. There are many on the market. ProPlan has one and so does Nutro. These are 2 very good dog foods of a higher quality.
The yellow icky stuff your pet has been vomiting is bile, alot of dogs throw this up when their stomachs are very upset.
The diarrhea could be just that the food is not agreeing with your dog. Could also be that it is too high in fat.
Try one of the foods I suggested for sensitive stomachs.
Good luck!

Have you been feeding your dogs any new food because suddenly switching your dogs to a new food can cause them to become overwhelmed with the change and cause them to gag.
As for the diarrhea, Get to a new vet cuz your dog is not fine. or perhaps it's got a parasite or something. Hope this helps!

Do ur dogs eat table scraps? that could be the thing. one time i gave my dog food from a chinesse resturant and i was giving him the food my niece wouldnt eat and in the middle of the night i heard a strange noise and when i woke up it smelled so bad. He had diarrhea. It was not nice to clean up. But about the other dog it could be having the same problem but its coming out the other way.

I would go to another vet! SOON! It sure doesn't sound like the vet your using is giving you helpful information. If another vet gives you a reason you dogs are sick...you treat them....and they get better.... I would go back to the vet your using now and present him with the facts and cure then request a refund for his treatment you had previously paid for!

Sounds like they're eating something that causes those problems. Possibly something dead in the yard. Maybe a bad neighbor throwing stuff over the fence to make them sick. Get a second opinion from another vet and have their blood tested.

they maybe be allergic to the food they are eating. if they are out side, they maybe allergic to a certain planet(in some case, a type of grass) if they are inside and you tend to clean with chemicals a lot, they could be licking the areas in which you just cleaned. i am not an expert though. just a few stories i have heard from other owners.
