The ones here seem to be mostly very conservative. If the liberals say something, it must be wrong. Especially Al Gore.
Also, people who fear collectivist solutions to problems. Global warming demands those.
A few may have explicit financial interests.
Some people like to find evil conspiracies in everything. The world's scientists are being paid off, or are engaged in a massive environmentalist conspiracy.
Those are the main reasons for people to be very vocal.
But perhaps the most important for the general public is that global warming demands we actually make changes. People don't like change. Denying reality is a common strategy humans use to avoid dealing with change.

I just use common sense, there is no MAN MADE global warming.
To think you have the power to change the weather,by turning out a lightbulb, using less electricity, etc,is arrogant. The world has survived, many things before us and it will after us.The big thing about changing lifestyles is,I should be able to choose not you for me.If you want to make yourself feel better, fine,go green,i wont stop you,but dont tell me how to live, thats my choice, and the science we use is based on a 100% fact, not a speculation hidden in a consensus, science is not up for a vote,it either is or isnt

Deniers? Malign those of us who don't believe in your global warming religion by calling us deniers. Well, my motivation is my personal liberty. The liberty that this country was founded upon. I want to keep my freedom so I don't believe that I should give you or the government the ability to make my decisions for me under the guise that they are 'saving' the environment.
Pardon me while I go burn some long chain hydrocarbons.

My motivation as a global warming denier is just facts. With no proof i refuse to panic. If there was even a little proof, something that hinted at it, that would be something. (BTW, we are back to global cooling and the next Ice age.)

if you ask me global warming desires??
Did you know that the earth naturally heats and cools itself over time and has done so for the past 4 BILLION years? example: An ice age is the earth Cooling... maybe now we are entering a heat stage for our planet earth.
Also as dennis miller said global warming is not that big of a deal...
"There's a lot of differing data [about global warming], but as far as I can gather, over the last hundred years the temperature on this planet has gone up 1.8 degrees. Am I the only one who finds that amazingly stable? I could go back to my hotel room tonight and futz with the thermostat for three to four hours. I could not detect that difference."

I don't think the issue of global warming is at hand, that's a fact..it is the question if man or evolution is the cause.

I don't know of any deniers, but I do know of better educated people who use common sense based on college undergrad geology. In other words, education.
The time-tested, correct word is INTERGLACIATION. That accounts for the variations that occur between glaciations as they always have throughout the planet's history. Humans cannot alter geologic processes.
You're welcome.

I believe in Global Warming, but if you ask me, it's because they just don't know the REAL facts, and are therefore uninformed.
