It's one in the same... it's called Acrobat Reader and the vendor is Adobe. So, you could say: Adobe Acrobat Reader. Allows you to read pdfs, which are like a picture representation of a document. This is helpful in case you don't have the software the original document was created in (like MS Word, Visio, etc.). Anyone can download Acrobat Reader for free.

Antino ... Might you be getting these names confused with Adobe Acrobat? Adobe Acrobat (there's no mention of the word "reader") is the Adobe program that produces Acrobat format documents. However, the two names you mentioned obviously refer to the free program that's used to VIEW/READ Acrobat documents.
