You need to get clarification of what the doctor meant. Too much acid sounds like he's talking about stomach acid. As it turns out, most doctors do not understand this problem at all. Your father most likely is suffering from bad digestion where he is not producing enough stomach acid and too much lactic acid from rotting food.

The drug companies make billions of dollars each year on this ignorance. As we age, we produce less and less stomach acid. By the time we are 80 years old, we only produce about 5% of the stomach acid we produced at the age of 30. This causes food to not be digested and it sits there and rots producing lactic acid from the fermentation process. The lactic acid can be eliminated by taking Betaine HCL (stomach acid) after each meal. This gets rid of any so called "acid indigestion" within a few minutes. If you take the drug company "antacids," you will neutralize the lactic acid, but the food will continue to rot and leave toxins that your body will have to deal with. You will then have to take more drug company products to deal with those issues!

I would strongly suggest not taking the "purple pill," tums, or any other of those garbage drugs that make your body sick from the toxins and compacted feces that are a result of taking that trash.

Our bodies were designed to eat uncooked foods, raw vegetables, etc. Since we cook our foods, we need to add this form of HCL to our diet. Additionally, if you take a quality potassium activator with this HCL, you will remethylate your cells and add years to your life expectancy.

I would suggest purchasing the Betaine HCL & Activator from a company like the one at: www.healthline.cc

They sell one of the best forms of this product in my opinion.

good luck

not sure what your question is but, here's my opinion Marijuana is neither physically nor psychologically addictive, like alcohol and tobacco. It is the best medicine in the world for stress, the number one killer in the USA, as well as for appetite loss, depression, and insomnia caused by many medications. The ONLY reason it is illegal is that it is a great material for textile manufacture and during the 1930s US cotton farmers lobbied against it, and the politicians, paid off by the cotton farmers, passed a law to make possession it a crime. If the US government would legalize and tax it they could eliminate the national deficit in just a few years. I broke my back a few years ago and suffer from chronic severe pain, I love it, and I smoke it just keep that to yourself though, don't want those crooked politicians to find out. And it's legal for medicinal purposes in NM, just across the road from me.

The How to Herb Book by Velma J.Keith and Monteen Gordon
**p. 162 -

"As foods are digested in the body, they leave a residue or ash which is either neural, acid, or alkaline. Acidosis occurs when the alkaline reserve in the body is diminished....If we eat too many acid producing foods we become over-acid and are less able to resist disease....Alkalis help to neutralize the acids when one does become over acid or ill....Eating more alkaline-ash foods helps the body to heal and regain its balanced chemistry."

IF YOUR BODY IS ACIDIC:
EAT MORE Alkali Forming Foods-vegetables, fruits, greendrinks, juices, broths, soups, cottage cheese, buttermilk
AVOID Acid Forming Foods-most grains (except millet), buckwheat, meats, eggs, nuts (except almonds), lentils

Seeds and grains become more alkaline when sprouted.

Neutral or near Neutral- butter, milk, cream, honey, dried legumes
