I hurt, but not for my Lord nor for my feelings. I hurt for them. Such hatred will only hurt them... Jim

They don't take it, they leave it for the rest of us to find! HA!

Anyways, not like they have much of a choice, right? It's here and will always be here as long as people are allowed to think for themselves. If they don't like it, they can stay on Answers In Genesis or some other closed world that protects their opinions and thoughts from reality.

Of course, they might be consoled by the fact they anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will definitely go to hell forever (Matthew 12:32, Mark 3:29, Luke 12:10).

I am a Christian and have been reading a lot of these posts lately and this one in particular is intriguing to me. I wholly believe that we were given a divine right to speak freely and believe in what ever we choose. Religion is meant to be an individual spiritual encounter within ourselves and our beliefs are just that something that is held dear to each individual. So as long as your are walking your path and sharing the good news with any and all who wish to experience it, why should you care that blasphemous statements are made. Just don't do it yourself and be a hypocrite when no one is watching. ( Not saying that this is what you do in particular, just generically speaking.) To me gettin all bunched up over an ignorant statement is a waste of my time and I know as well as the individual making the blasphemous statements that we will all have our time to be judged and we will be judged accordingly.

It's sad to hear and disheartens me to hear people mock, disrespect God, but I believe everyone has the right to their opinions on everything. I just realize that some are blinded by their misunderstanding of who God is. There are many factors that enter into this, I'm sure. I just stay grounded in my secure faith in God/Jesus and try to help anyone who wants to experience the love and salvation for their own lives. Some are searching to fill the void in their lives, some are not - this I accept as their choice. I don't think we should force our faith on anyone. Jesus wants a willing heart to come to Him. Ignore the answers that bother you and go on.

The blasphemy towards our God, IS hard to take. That's what disturbs me most of all. However, I always remember that God's mercy is renewed everyday, and that there was a time that I was exactly like them. If He could forgive me, I try to get past it...admittedly, I don't always do so without a dose of sarcasm.....

As a Christian, I have come to accept that not all people agree with my views or care to discuss them. The Good Book teaches us to forgive, and that's what I have learned to do. People who put down something they know nothing about, are not educated, well informed people. They are ignorant and expect the whole world to be part of the left-wing, liberal, atheist agenda. All we can do is pray for them, and hope they come to see the error of their ways.

properly, some people of route both did not bypass to varsity or did not hearken to something their instructors suggested. they do no longer should be christian for that although. there are a great number of atheist idiots obtainable. ignorant, moronic those who i'm certain have not in any respect study a e book of their existence. i hate it even as they say that they are atheists.......i elect to easily say, no, you're morons. although the single about christianity being the oldest surviving faith made me snigger. easily, does this man or woman understand that there are jews obtainable? or hindus?

Hopefully, by realizing this category is entitled "Religion and Spirituality", not just Christianity and other people are entitled to their own beliefs. That said, I don't feel it necessary to tear down ANY other religion to bolster one's own ego, regardless of what faith you may be. But hey, that would fall under the "do unto others" category as well.

I guess the same way non-christians take all the hate-mongering from some people on this forum.

It used to bother me, but I have decided to leave that all up to the Lord and answer only questions that seem legitimate. I think a lot of them are only intended to get a rise out of Christians. We'll see how funny they are on judgement day.

I'd like to say I don't get angry, but I'd be lying.

Fact is, atleast 2/3 of the world are sinner right now, so what does it matter? they don't want God, that's their choice. I'm really here to clarify certain things about God, not tell you what you already know (and I scold you if i feel like it).

Peace I guess. God's peace transends all human understanding. but don't get me wrong, anger is good when you're rightfully angry, like when someone insults me or my Brother or Father.
