My quaker parrot flew off it's cage and hit the floor so hard it bit it's tongue. I put flour on the tongue but what else should I do?

You will just have to keep putting flour on till it quits or call vet.It does take awhile to quit bleeding sometimes. We clipped Keyairas(my Macaw) beak too short once and it took 20 minuyes to quit bleeding. She kept licking the flour off her beak.

If it bleeding and you havent stopped it yet, CALL a pet store that deals with birds -- if they can't help -- call a vet. Im not sure if you can use "Quick-Stop" .. its coagulant shops use when they trim animals' nails. Call first!!!
