The big bang in itself is a possible occurence.

To make the big bang theory as a replacement for God is something completely different, and doesnt make sense at all.

"The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it : "Be!" - and it is. "[Quran 2:117]

"Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?" [Quran 21:30]

Nobody has any idea WHY the big bang happened. It is just the best explanation that anyone has come up with to explain the physical data that is known about the present day universe.

The only time you have to invoke a higher being is when you suppose there has to be a reason why things happened the way they did. If you take away the need for a reason, maybe it will be easier for you to see that things can just happen because they have to happen.

How in the world can nothing turn into God without the help of a higher being? It doesn't make much sense.

If God doesn't need a creator, why does the big bang?

We don't know how or if it can happen, but lack of knowledge is not evidence for God.

The Big Bang theory is wrong not because it can not be explained without God but because the Universe is endless in all directions. And it is endless in time. The Universe existed forever and will exist forever.

God doesn't exist. Where would he come from? It doesn't make any sense.

How can a 'higher being' just exist from nowhere and nothing? That's truly barmy.

Fact is, we already know that matter comes into existence spontaneously and uncaused - Real, objective evidence proves it. If existence itself is acausal and random then no prior cause or intention is required. Indeed, an intelligent origin for the universe is logically impossible.

no one knows anything, none of it makes sense, because we all have poxy little brains, that only understand the logic that we can make logic of. for example, how big is the universe? what is the end of it? a wall? and whats behind that wall? and how big is that? who knows, but crazy to think it never ends, ..... but??....how???....but it must!!!? what about the pyramids? how did they get all the stone there, how did they design that??? the questions are endless etc etc... all our knoledge is based on what we know to be true, what rules apply to us, here on earth. and a few people that really are no wiser than us guessing things, trying to prove it, coming up with a load of theories, that make sence to our poxy little brains, seeing how many people agree with them, they're never gonna be able to prove this, we're all born, we all die, hopefully we'll go to some sort of heaven, i sincerely hope we do, but then doesn't everybody??? doesn't that make for a good story?? Let's tell the little ones about a wonderfull man called god. to soften the blow of the inevitable??
to make it easier for our poxy little minds to deal with!!! religion is the cause of all wars....period.The fact is, one day we will all find out... untill then live your life like you ain't going no where!!!!

True; it doesn't make sense; but the Big Bang theory goes well with the bibical story of creation; so now you see why the creation story also doesn't make sense...no?

Stephen King has a great THEORY in the "Drawing of the Three" of this universe being nothing more then the cellular structure of a purple blade of grass on a planet in a much larger universe. Then that universe would be the cellular structure of something larger than itself.

To a mere mortal human being with a finite mind it is impossible to grasp the comprehension needed to draw a logical conclusion of such immense proportions. That is why God is God and we are not.......God is an infinite God of creation. That's why all of the galaxies of the universe are similar looking in their basic structure but all different in their design makeup; there is not one exactly alike. Each one is a masterpiece in and of itself........Just like humans!
