I got married in June and had jewel tones. Mine were contrasting colors of deep pinks(like fushia, hot pink etc.) and deep oranges(like tangerine) and deep blues and apple green accent colors. When mixed together, it was amazing! A summer wedding definitely needs color! My bridesmaids wore the deep pink color and it looks so great in the pictures.

Peach, Salmon, Mint Green, Bone, Mauve Pink, Dusty Blue or Sky Blue. Nice colors.Whatever you do don't select black..its the worst color I have ever seen in weddings and it looks terrible in photos. It looks like a funeral. If you have a little flower girl and ring bearer, do the flower girls dress in white with a sash the color that you pick for wedding party. Ring bearer could be all in a white tux or the same as the groomsmen.

Choose colors you like , light colors purples. greens .yellow but go with the colors that appeal to you. I had a summer wedding and went with a light purple that suited everyone in the wedding party The woman looked real good and you could not tell that one was almost 7 months pregnant.

I had a summer wedding, and I went with blue hues. I eloped to up to Queensland (Australia) and the colours I chose were to represent all the colours of the ocean and sky in the beautiful location.
If I was to have had a full "normal" wedding, Id have probably gone with bright colours like orange and yellows to again symbolise the weather....but ultimately your wedding colour is sort of an expression of yourself and if you like dark colours, or red or purple and green stripes - go for it!

Congrats and Good Luck :o)

I'm getting married in early August and had a bit of difficulty with this myself. I really don't like pastels, but the summer date worked best for us. We ended up settling on a mix of very deep and vibrant colors--royal blue, deep red, soft orange, and hot pink--all with antique gold accents. The blue is our main color--we made this decision based on the reception venue. Turns out that you're quite limited with floral options when it comes to blue, so we really got creative with the buds and added a ton of beautiful color. So basically, don't feel like you're stuck to a monochromatic, pastel color scheme (don't get me wrong, I've seen beautiful pastel pink weddings--they're just not for me). I'm sure whatever you choose will be beautiful--just make sure it reflects your personality as a couple!

I would go with bright colors, something that reflects your personality. Pastels I feel are more spring then summer and earth tones for fall cool tones for winter...

How about a bright chartreuse (green) with a hot pink (if your into pink) if you arent then maybe an orange color that can be accented with pinks or browns.

My wedding is in July and I really did not choose seasonal colors I went with a color I love.

Don't worry about season, just pick a color you or your fiance love, or if you don't have a fav. color go with a color that makes you feel good.

my colors are: White/Silver with Black accents.
