On Sunday March 4th 2007 they will be broadcasting the long awaited controversial subject/find of “The Tomb of Jesus”. Let’s set ALL arguments aside for now and let’s watch and try and find any discrepancies that might arise from this film. Let’s not JUDGE lest we be judged, Let’s allow ourselves the pleasure of watching this film. Should be entertaining. I have this beautiful picture I wish I could have posted it here, I don't khow to do that, I've seen others be able to do it. It was a Tunnel in which at the end of the Tunnel we saw a cross, it's an awesome picture, and it was titled "There is light at the end of the tunnel". Interesting enough, this picture when I first viewed it, brought about anger and I proceeded to post a response and had it all written out but FORTUNATELY wasn’t allowed to post it as it was NOT acceptable for that site, NO it wasn't this site.

For some reason, some time ago a friend showed me a prayer and when she showed it to me it was as if I needed IT in my possession and my friend said that I had to give it back, so what I did I transcribed it on a piece of paper and kept it in my possession over the years, not knowing that eventually this prayer needed to come to LIGHT. Following is the prayer that I copied word for word without changes. “This prayer was found in FIFTIETH YEAR of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505, it was sent from the Pope the Emperor Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death, or be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them: neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy, or shall be burned in any fire or shall be overpowered in battle.

Prayer to St-Joseph Oh! St. Joseph whose protections is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests & desires. Oh! St-Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain, for me from your divine son all spiritual blessings, Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh! St-Joseph I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms: I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St-Joseph Patron of departing souls – Pray for me. (OPTIONAL) .... Say for nine mornings for anything you may desire. It has never been known to fail, so be sure you really WANT WHAT YOU ASK.”

Nine days is at the discretion of each individual. I pray that it’s said once at least. When I read the words and imagine little tiny Jesus in the arms of his Father, such a nice feeling it brought tears to my eyes. If we all say it with FAITH and keep us nears us in the coming days we can only be victorious in our battle towards the TRUTH. God Bless ALL. Light a candle and allow God's work to be done. Amen

ramjet: I know I can pray to Jesus. Look at the DATE of this prayer. Joseph was a mortal man that held Jesus in his arms and was able to kiss and cajole him to a smile as a child, he was not the sperm donor but he loved this child with all his heart.

As to "V" your response is being judgmental without understanding where I'm coming from.

God does not test our faith; rather He allows it to be tested.

I believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Steps 3 & 4 get done once, but we must always repeat 1 &2.

Remember, the Lord will not suffer us to bear more than that which we can stand.

I claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of my own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

Stand true to what you believe - if this film contradicts your beliefs, then it contradicts them, and that's all it does - it shouldn't change them.

I will not be watching any broadcast saying the tomb of Jesus with His bones has been found. This is hogwash and garbage.
Jesus Christ is sitting at the right hand of God in heaven. To watch this film is to doubt the Word of God.

I DO NOT DOUBT THE WORD OF GOD!! Apostle Paul when He got tired of the false doctrine and heresy being thrown at him, he said, "May God be true and every man a liar." My feelings exactly.

I have to ask myself:

Do I really care about this find?

Answer:

No.

Jesus' bones have not been found. This is a publicity stunt to make Christians look dumb. Same old game.

Let's try an experiment:

What if they say that they have FINALLY found Julius Ceasar's bones! Would anyone care? How would they know they were REALLY his bones?

Do we have DNA samples from Julius Ceasar's family on record?
How do we rule out the possibility that verified DNA evidence isn't one of Jesus' brothers? (He had four of them, you know!)
Do we have verifiable evidence of his last resting place and it's EXACT location?
How do we rule out the possibility that the grave site isn't a hoax or a fraud? (There are actually many attempts every year, and some of are good enough to attract world-class scholars.)

Jesus became a man and is no longer a baby in someone's arms.

Joseph is asleep in his grave.

Pray to God the Father as Jesus taught.

Read the Bible & Pray to GOD. You don't need a man to intercede for you. You do need to know the word of God or you will be decieved.

why would I pray to Joseph nine days in a row if I can pray directly to Jesus?
What is the purpose of assuming that Joseph can help me? He's dead.

You don't have to dial "0" to get to Jesus!

yes I'll watch it and it will be interesting.

It doesn't matter if they find some bones in an ossuary they have no compiled DNA of Christ to prove it's him. Even if they could prove it was his body that still doesnt explain his reappearance following his death?

Well, his body has to be some where on this earth. No DNA, no proof.
