yes. but he's mixed with a little bloodhound.
labs are great dogs. i have had a lot of different breeds of dogs over my lifetime and this one i got at the humane society is by far the smartest and best dog i have ever had.
yes, they have a lot of energy -- but labs really need a big yard to be able to run off their energy. labs should not be put in a kennel all day or inside all day -- if that's all you can do -- you shouldn't get a lab.

Technically he's part lab and part chow. He has the long lanky body and legs of a lab, but the tongue, ears, tail and shape of his head are chow. I love him. He's GREAT with my kids!! Just a big baby!! He stays outside. He HATES closures aka dog houses, regular houses. I have to let him have my garage for a dog house. He has always been outside since he was a puppy. He's going to be 6 years old this year. If he comes to me for lovin and stands up - his face meets mine and I'm 5'9". His name is Wishbone.

I have an 11 month old black lab (mix of somekind) - He is a fantastic dog. I strongly recommend labs! He's super smart, very playful, very active, obsessivly loving, and amazing with kids!!! Of course, they do need a lot of exercise and attention!!

I had a black lab for 14 years. Sadly she developed cancer and had to be put to sleep. She was a wonderful companion and a great dog to grow up with.

I have a yellow lab/ bassett hound mix... he is SOOOO funny!! His name is Orville and we adopted him at the animal shelter 2 weeks ago!! he is soo hillarious!! click on that... its a picture of my pooch!!

yes-my brother has one and so do I-his name is Leroy and is about a year and a half. He weighs over 115 lb. and is about 3ft. high!!!!
He is so adorable though!!

i do not have one but i know someone that has one and she brought her to school. for a experiment in high school Psychology.
