... and people who are really trying cant seem to get prego?
I swear, a dozen of my friends have kids, and all of them were "surprises" and conceived while using prevention methods.
I have 4 friends who have been trying to get prego for months, and no luck!
LOL! Isnt life ironic like that? Does it seem that way to anyone else?

PS; My hubby and I have a surprise baby too, lol. She was conceived on the last day of my period (not usually a fertile time), AND we were using the pill and condoms. Ha, babies definetly come when they want to! Makes me wonder if we really need birth control at all, lol.

I couldn't agree more. It's amazing how much stress plays a factor when trying to conceive. When all caution is thrown to the wind then the couple can relax & enjoy themselves...a baby could be the result. For couples trying to conceive the act of making a baby becomes almost a chore.

It seems that way to me ... but it also seems the way of life. People always want what the other has... I believe conception comes when it is right... and that those that take the fun out of sex in order to simply conceive... are somehow playing with fate..... they spend all this time planning and waiting....in the end, the baby comes when the time is ready.

Sometimes the people who are trying to hard stress themselves too much. The people who get pregnant aren't thinking about it, they are relaxed and it happens.
It's funny that pregnancy even happens when you stop and consider the tiny fertility window we as humans have. Our cycles are more delicate than we think and even something small can throw the system off and prevent pregnancy.

LOL i know what u mean
My husband and i tried for 11 months to get pregnant and we stopped trying. I got pregnant a month later. I think the stress of trying and counting days hurts the chances of concieving.
my daughter was a "surprize" baby. i was on birthcontrol and i got preggers with her.

Usually the moment you say - let's try for a baby - you go into overdrive! Stress of conceiving can stop you falling pregnant and all those relaxed couples who are doing it for fun usually slip up!

That is because those who are not trying to conceive are focusing on enjoying the sex rather than hoping to conceive. Those who are not trying to conceive are more relaxed about it.

Prego is tomato sauce company in my area, but, yeah, now that you mentioned it, it does seem like that. I do agree life is ironic especially when it comes to sex!

It seems like that to me. When i was trying to get pregnant, many of my friends would be like I'm pregnant and i wasn't even trying. I kept saying to my self when will it be my turn. 1 year later and I'm finally pregnant.
