I have a job where I spend most of the day in a chair at a desk. I want to get lots of work done, so I can make more money, but I get tired and run out of steam after about 4-5 hours. I try to eat, sleep and exercise well, but there's problems in all these areas, as follows:

Sleep - I've had troubles sleeping all my life. Some nights I can't fall asleep until 3 or 4 am and other nights I go straight to bed when I get home at 6pm.

Nutrition - It's a mixed bag, I eat lots of veggies, but lots of sugar as well. Plus I drink on the weekends.

Exercise - many walks, some jogs, overall though it is quite a sedetary life.

Any Suggestions on lifestyle changes or things to do to increase my productivity would be greatly appreciated. Any advice from doctors would be great, or advice from people who work 50+ hours per week and feel great? What is your secret to stamina and Productivity?

I am a paramedic and work 48 hr shifts. We have a station, like a fire station, and are usually so busy we don't sleep more than 4 hrs per night. Often that is interrupted. I often pick up extra shifts for overtime, and I also have another part-time job. I have also had insomnia issues, so here is what I've found that helps, part of which a doc advised me to do that really made a difference.

Sleep - Develop a bedtime and stick with it, even on weekends. You may not feel tired, but lay there and try and relax. No TV. Is your bedroom condusive to sleep? Quiet? No computer/tv on. I have used a little, low relaxing music. If you can't fall to sleep after 30 min. or so I read, but only for a short while - 15 to 20 min., then back to bed. You have to do this for several weeks to get your body trained, then, if you go out and have a late night, it isn't such a big deal, but you have to keep it up until you get in the habit. If you come home exhausted, don't go to bed more than an hr early. You can't sleep late either - get up at the same time you get up for work. I am in bed by 11pm, and up by 7am at the latest. I enjoy it now - I have some quiet time to myself to just enjoy my coffee.

Nutrition - On my job, it's catch as can. I eat healthy at home, but we often don't have time to cook, and it's fast food. I still grab a lot of salads, and carry stuff to munch on that's healthy and high in protein - nuts like cashews and almonds, trail mix, etc. Mid morning and midafternoon try adding a simple handful of nuts or some string cheese for the protein and see how much your stamina increases, but also add some fruit for a slight sugar/carb rush - even if it's dried fruit at your desk like raisins or cherries, or a handful of fresh grapes. Overall, cut back on your sugars, and limit your alcohol consumption. It'd be great if you could eliminate it for 6 weeks and see if it helps you get on track faster. One biggie - stop sugary drinks and increase water.

Exercise - I think you know the answer there - just try and increase it to do something daily. A 30 min. walk daily is a great start. Stairs instead of elevator, park further away, brown bag it and walk to the park and eat lunch, etc. You may consider yoga, which would address exercise and relaxation both, thus helping sleep issues.

Talk to a doctor about your sleeping habits- there might be something they can do. Also, try not to eat sweets. While they give a boost to begin with your sugar level will drop after a few hours and leave you lower than before. Try eating things like nuts and fruit since they will give a mixture of protein, natural sugar, and carbohydrates which will keep you energized for much longer. And if anything try to walk around your office a little to keep your blood flowing.

Definetly talk to a doctor about the sleep. If you are doing everything else right that's probably the problem. The sleep could be interrelated with the exercise and the diet as well.

The Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV) defines premature ejaculation as a persistent or recurrent ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before, on or shortly after penetration and before a person wishes. Wow, that’s not a sexy definition. Personally, I define it as you come quicker than you or your partner wants. Luckly this is a great solution for premature ejaculation https://tr.im/5f271

i think you should take a break every few hours -- get up use the restroom, grab a nice cold glass of water, maybe take a breath of fresh air outside. plan these breaks into your daily schedule -- it will help to gauge yourself to get this, this and this done by 10 am or whatever. and it will break up the day more.
