how do i treat an abraison on my dogs ear?

its like at the tip of his ear. and its all hard.
like i think its scabby

As you would on your own, with a triple antibiotic ointment, after bleeding is controlled...or spay-on bandage or solarcain..then watch it for any sign of infection.

If it's just a minor abrasion put some neosporin on it. He should be just fine.

Areas where he's prone to lick are not as easy to treat with neosporin. You'll have to watch him and stop him from licking the wound.

My little guy gets quite a few minor scratches from playing hard with the other doggies at day care and it works just great.

If it's not serious wash it with 50/50 warm water/hydrogen peroxide and let it heal on its own :) Just make sure to keep an eye on it and keep it clean so it doesn't get infected.

Clean it really well with peroxide and put neosporin on it, works like a charm.

peroxide and antibiotic ointment real heavy on the ear until it is healed.
