Yes there is only one God and he has a son named Jesus Christ. He sent his son Jesus to earth as a human being to tell others about him. I see a lot of people believe in the trinity where God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one, but it's not true. God is the one and only, Jesus is his son, and the Holy Spirit is God's active force which he give to us when we need him the most. God is not a three headed freak and the Bible clearly shows they are not the same because when Jesus was here on earth he prayed to his father, God. If they are the same he would be praying to himself, but he was praying to the one who created him, who is God, the one who had no beginning and will have no end.

I know there is only one God, but He comes in 3 persons also known as the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. Kinda like water. Water is water, ice is water and steam is water.

Jesus said He was God. He called Himself the "I Am" which is what He told Moses from the burning bush. That's why the Jewish leaders tried to stone Him.
So, He was either not a godly prophet or He was God.
God - Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Deny the existence of one and you're falling short of salvation.
Read the Bible & Pray about it. The true God will not lead you astray.

Jesus is the "only begotten son of God" All else seen and unseen was created through him...That means Jesus created everything by the direction of God the Father. He was the Christ too, which means he was the only way to salvation given to mankind. He is in fact a direct family member of God. God's one and only direct son. I don't know if that helped, but I hope it did. Jesus was more than just Human. He gave up the state of Godship to become Human. God the Father gave Jesus the power to forgive sin, which makes him way more than Human. He is the way, truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by him....that him is Jesus. That doesn't sound like just a messenger to me. Yes he was a messenger, but he was God's direct Son given to forgive our sins. No other name was given under Heaven to be saved by...only Jesus!

Do people really believe God came down here in person? What is God? Would be my first question. He is every where, in us, the whole never ending universe. God is every where.
Do people really believe he come here in person? we are like dust in the universe. God sent a messenger, that is more believable I think.
Do people really have a real concept of the Spirit world?

I have no idea. As a Deist there is nothing in nature that provides evidence to whether there is one or thousands of gods. Personally, I believe there is only one supreme god.
