Your dog will not suffer if he is not having a blast in his crate. Just give him some chew toys and call it fun. Clean the cage regularly and that should get rid of the odor in the cage. Brush your dog often and stop bathing him so much. I have 4 dogs and they only get bathed about 2 times a year. They are house dogs and they may have an odor but they have great skin. Dogs don't shampoo in the wild. They clean themselves with their tongue. So they don't need bathing very often. The dandruff could also be a cause from the food you feed him. Feed them Nutro Ultra if you don't already and stop bathing them so much.

He has dry skin probably from you bathing him, Get some oatmeal shampoo for your doggy, hydra pearls dog shampoo is awesome too!! As for the stinky get some dog cologne too =) The crate question, There are a ton of toys that you can get him to keep him occupied while you are out but i bet you that he spends more than half that time sleeping =) Get a Kong toy and bones that take a while to destroy =) He'll have fun with whatever you put in there !!

Kongs stuffed with treats, and bully sticks are two great ways of entertaining your dog in his crate.
As far as the dandruff and odor, its likely a combination of low quality food, and over bathing.
Low quality food leads to poor hair coat and more doggie odor. Switch to a high quality food, Innova Evo and Canidae are a couple.
Stop bathing him so much. Overbathing leads to dry itchy skin. Dry itchy skin leads to more dandruff, and possible skin infections. Also when you bath a dog you strip its coat of natural oils, this puts the skin into overload to make more, and causes more doggie odor.
Generally dogs need to be bathed only once every 6 months, unless of course they are obviously dirty. Daily brushing will keep their coats clean and shiny between baths.

he does not need to have fun in his crate, thats his rest time, you could give him a bone. Bath the dog and wash the bedding at the same time, change it a couple of times a week, Get shampoo for his dry skin

I did have the comparable difficulty interior the previous with keep offered diapers. i don't understand if that's something that they are made up of or why they chew em, yet to alleviate the subject, I made my own. I used ordinary fabric interior the previous, yet this twelve months i've got switched to a delicate fabric that would not must be hemmed, fleece, that's what that's. i stitched 2 products together and used a delicate elastic, put in a hollow for the tail. It stopped her from ripping them off. They wash fairly properly and dry speedy too. I did stitch around the tail hollow some situations so as that it does no longer stretch out. that's fairly a speedy restore with a stitching gadget, even with the help of hand, that's quickly. in simple terms a rectangle, hem the two ends, slide interior the elastic, cut back out tail hollow and stitch the tail hollow so as that it continues to be superb. I do toddler my canine and he or she thinks she's human now that she wears "outfits". I in simple terms save telling her how somewhat she is in her panties, hey, it worked for me...Sam

When we crate our dog, we leave chew toys in there. Also he has a blanket that he loves to play with and sleep with. Not to mention a old shoe of mine that while he doesn't chew, he does like to rest on. Basically, find what your dog likes.
Get oatmeal shampoo for his dandruff, it helps his skin.

you need to clean your dog's crate regularly.
maybe you bathe him too often (once every two weeks is enough) or the doggie shampoo you use is drying his skin.
