You may have thoughts of your ex for a long long time. I am happily married with three wonderful kidsbut thoughts of a certain past love crop up every now and then. Its 25 years but I still wonder what and where she's up to. I hope genuinely she has got all she wanted and is as happy as me. 25 years ago inter racial relationships in the east end of london didnt stand much chance, it didnt have a hope........remember the good times but move on. Good luck. x

No your'e not. i know it doesn't seem like it know but gradually things will get easier. There is not set time frame for getting over someone but you will notice as time goes on that you will start thinking about him less and less. of course it will still hurt when you think about it, or find something he wrote you but I guarantee that it will pass. i think it is good that you have tried a lot of different ways to take him off your mind but you need to realise that it is okay to look back at what you had with him but know that one day you will have that again but a million times better because you will both be right place/right time.

I broke up with my ex-husband and boyfriend in the same week. Got over the ex before we even saw the judge. Mourned the boyfriend for 3 years. It is all just a matter of time.

no you're not alone. i had the same problem.
me and my ex broke up about 6 months ago aswell. i partyed and cut him out and i still felt horrible. then one day i realized the more i kept thinking about him the more it was killing me. so i started to fill up my days with things i love to do and spent more time with the other people in my life that i care about. now i think about him less and less. i can even talk to him now without feeling hurt.

You are not alone hunny. Trying to occupy your self with other things help dampen the feelings, have you tried new sports activities like basketball or martial arts, especially joining these clubs help rid of stress and worries and gets you to focus on something else. Try it good luck

We have all probably been through this at some stage - just try to enjoy yourself. Think of all the negative things about the relationship and try not to look back through rose tinted glasses. Remind yourself of the reasons why you parted........... Remember, when the next guy comes along - don't compare them!

No what you are doing is normal. Try not to focus on him because it is upsetting you. He will not give a damn about you and so only you are hurting. Itwill all end when you meet the right person and he will pale into insignificance.

Your doing this because your in the uncertainty phase where you think about what could have happend. Talk it over with him and resolve this or else your going to drive yourself crazy.
