What does heaven look like?

Question

Although I do not believe that Heaven exists, I nevertheless have always had an idea of what it might look like. I have always thought of Heaven as having and infiite blanket of white clouds for terrain and a clear azure sky overhead. Suddenly, a few moments ago, I realised how preposterous and narrow-minded this idea was. Therefore, I decided to find out the truth about Heaven's image:

Is there a specific depiction of Heaven that all Christians can agree upon? Can we know what Heaven looks like? Does Heaven look like anything at all?

It depends what heaven you're talking about. There's only three mentioned in the bible.

First Heaven = This is also called the firmament or expanse of heaven. It is the heaven where the birds fly and where the clouds give rain. (Gen.1:26; 2:20; 8:2 & 1Kings 18:45)

Second Heaven = This refers to outerspace where the sun, moon and stars can be found. (Gen.22:17 & Exodus 32:13 & Joshua 10:13)

Third Heaven = The Apostle Paul tells us that the heaven of God's abode is the "third heaven." In the Old Testament this is often designated by the phrase "the heaven of heavens." (Joshua 2:11 & Psalms 11:4 & 2Corinthians 12:2 equated with v.4 = paradise)

THERE ARE TWO KINGDOMS: ONE ON EARTH AND THE OTHER ONE COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN.

The 1st Kingdom of Heaven =
DAN.7:27 = "AND THE KINGDOM AND DOMINION, AND THE GREATNESS OF THE KINGDOM UNDER THE WHOLE HEAVEN, SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE OF THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, WHOSE KINGDOM IS AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM, AND ALL DOMINION SHALL SERVE AND OBEY HIM."
REV.5:10 = "AND HAST MADE US UNTO OUR GOD KINGS AND PRIESTS: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH."

The 2nd kingdom of Heaven =
AFTER 1,000 YEARS = A NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH-HOLY CITY COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN = REV.21:1-4; ISAIAH 65:17-25; 66:1,22 AND ETC.

* Soil: "And then I was showed in the heaven, I saw there were camps made of pearls and the soil was of musk." (al-Bukhari)

* Vegetation: "Indeed, there is a tree in heaven so big that if a person keeps riding on a brisk madhamar [a specially bred horse] for a hundred years even then he would not reach the end of that tree." (al-Bukhari)

* Splendour: "Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that the Prophet of God (peace be upon him) said: There is no tree in the heaven that does not have a trunk of gold." (Muslim)

* Sleep: "Sleep is the sister of death and the dwellers of the heaven will not sleep." (Silsalat al-ahadith)

* Beauty: "Indeed, there is a bazaar in the heaven where the dwellers of the Heaven will come on every Friday. The northerly wind will spray scent on them and this will enhance their beauty. And when they will return to their homes, their households will say 'By God, your beauty is enhanced.' 'So has yours,' they will return the compliment." (Muslim)

It is to beautiful and Holy for man to describe. Christ is the Light there,the Throne of God the Father and of Christ, streets of gold and Mansions prepared for the saints. The saints and the angels praising and singing. What a Wonderful Day that will be when we get home.

It is described in the book of revelations, but it is my personal belief that heaven will be like Earth, only it will be perfect and immortal.

first off u have to be dead to find out. so only god and his angels know. maybe heaven look just like a purer and better earth. no one know for sure . thhere are many idea to what it may be but we will never know for sure.

being that someone would have to be dead before they found out what heaven looks like, i guess the only beings who know are angels and God, Himself.
