The short version of the story is I went to go pay for my food and since you cant see in the box, you just tell the guy checking you out what you have. So I go "Potatoes and 3 bacon links and 1 sausage link" and he goes...."open it" and I go...what you dont believe me? and he goes...."I can look at some people and tell they are lying" and I go... " You know what, keep your f*cking food! and threw the box of food at him, it went all over the floor. He will know I was telling the truth later on when he is cleaning it up!

Should I seek help or was this justified?

yeah.... I'm not gonna lie - you were both wrong in that situation. He never should have provoked you, and you could have taken the higher road.
What you did was mean - but everyone loses their cool every once in while... and he sort of did ask for it. I think the fact that you threw it at him crossed the line though. I don't think you need to seek professional help, but you should make an attempt to control your temper if you get angry like that on a regular basis.

No, you don't need help. So you got angry...big deal! I have to say, it's a pretty funny story. I suppose a better way to handle it would have been to ask to talk to the manager, or pay for the food and call later to speak with a manager.

I'm still laughing to myself here.

I can see why him accusing you of lying would have made you upset, but you definitely shouldn't have thrown the box. Perhaps you do have an anger problem. If you think you might, why not have yourself evaluated by a psychologist?

Definately justified!!! That's exactly what I would have done in that situation.
