being funny?

I need help on being funny someone who can make you laugh but not just jokes..... actual advice

by the way I am 13 and in 7th grade and I am a guy

ok, mostly being funny just comes naturally you can't exactly learn it.

First off the people you're around need to have a sense of humor and you have to know what's funny to them.

Dane Cook is a terrible example because he is not a comedian he is a person who makes up random things and then makes the telling of the story take ten minutes and be exaggerated.

I'm funny most of the time, but the town I moved to doesn't laugh at anything and I've given it my best shot. My old town would be laughing there asses off at half the stuff that goes on.

Ex. A kid took milk and threw it across the cafeteria and it exploded all over another kid and I was the only really laughing.

I don't get it.
But anyway just be creative, but if you doubt a joke is funny don't
say it.

do the most funniest perverted things if you know that they're perverted too... If you're doing this for a talent show, do the Mr.Roboto... Look up Evolution of Dance on youtube... You will be amazed at the funnyness...

Ok. I assume you want to impress a girl, because you shouldn't have to TRY to be funny around your friends.

Listen to her jokes and when she laughs at things. Then, make similar jokes. If she likes jokes about monkeys, make jokes about monkeys. ( you get what im saying )

After she gets to know you, you will be able to come up with some stuff on your own that should make her laugh.

Just say something like this Ok girls don't like a guy that has to try to be funny because then it's really not that funny , if your not then your not just being yourself and they'll like you try it and i promise you it will work i had told my little brother to use that joke and he did and it work now he use it all the time on somebody and they be laughing they be asking him where did he get that joke from and he being saying my sister had told me to use this joke and they be saying they love it all the girls be wanting to talk to my little brother good luck and i hope it can work for you just like it had work for my little brother.

well, i don't kno how helpful this can be but if you try to relax and enjoy yourself your wit should just come naturally to you. I know a couple friends who don't try to be funny but crack us up so bad we get tears in our eyes.

You probably might not become the court jester in your group of friends very quickly or maybe never but you have to understand that true comedy can not be forced.

Bottom line, lay back and just stop worrying about being funny and let your instincts take over.

But please no 'yo mama' jokes, its really just sad when ppl have to stoop so low just to get some laughs.

being funny is all about timing. Taking little remarks and timing them with the conversation. listen to funny people around you listen on how at just the right time they make a remark that fits the conversation and bam you laugh! good luck!

if it ain't natural to ya, don't bother. you're still in middle school lil homie just let it ride. When I was in high-school let alone middle school I didn't tell jokes but people thought I was funny. Motherf*ckers always asking me "to cheer them up."

Just let it ride, don't force the sh*t. If you still wanna be a funny person just imitate your fav. comedians. Joke your friends until they start crying. Someone should laugh at that ****
