The convenience of accessing information is a dream.
And just think, instant back-up for your valuable stuff.
Plus built-in movie access and dozens of other great stuff.
The NAY-SAYERS bash it because they are trying to upgrade and there can be trouble with drivers etc.
The CONSESUS across America is : Get Vista on a factory installed PC. Then you can be sure of getting the right Video card, sufficient memory(128) and at least 1 gig of Ram (although if you can pay a few bucks extra and get 2 Gig you will benefit greatlly.
Don't forget when they came out with FRONT WHEEL DRIVE autos many people hated it. Now there is only ONE car in the country that has rear-wheel drive.

I would 200% suggest installing Novell SuSE Linux 10.2 which is Million times secure than windows vista and if you really want to compare the graphics, linux 10.2 has much much better graphics than windows vista and its free. You can download a DVD version of it to try on your PC without having to install it. You can also download the standard version to install which is also free.

I'm happy with XP. Don't intend to install Vista until about a year.

Vista only looks good with, Its little bubbly buttons and good looking backgrounds. It's very buggy and was released too early.
