What are some good drinking games?

Ourselves and some friends are coming over tonight to have a few drinks and I was just wondering what some good drinking games are that won't get you drunk too fast. Please don't think I'm irresponsible and if you do, just don't answer. I am 23 years old and we don't do this all the time, we just like to kick back a few when we can get all our friends together.

THE SCOOBY DOO DRINKING GAME

One Drink
If Scooby Doo and Shag get separated from everyone else.
If Shags says, "Zoinks!" or "Jeepers!"
If the Mystery Machine is shown.
When the monster/ghost is shown.
When someone says "This is a clue" or "could be a clue!", etc.
If a chase is ever initiated.
Every time Fred says "Good Work Gang!"
Daphne puts her hands on her hips. (Drink twice if she speaks with her hands on her hips).

Two Drinks
If Fred and Daphne ever go off to explore alone.
If Scooby Snacks are eaten.
If Velma looses her glasses.
If the show is set in a foreign country.
If an episode ends without Scooby saying "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!"

Three Drinks
If food (besides Scooby Snacks) is used to entice Scooby and Shaggy.
In the end: If a villain is unmasked to find another mask.

I don't know of any, but I am pleasantly surprised to hear you say you are responsible at the age of 23. The fact that you are concerned with people thinking you aren't is almost enough to convince me fully, that you are.

I guess if you insist on having some sort of fun drinking game, you could make a list of secret words that someone might say and write them down. Tell your guests about the list and then just keep a good ear out. This way, you won't have to do the shots and you can have a lot of fun with it. The friends can drink as they see fit and the secret words could be fun for all. You can make it so the person that says the word has to do a shot or so everyone does. I would base that on the odds of the word being said. You get the idea? cool beans! (beans) can be one of your words.

I like drinking jenga. Basically you get a jenga set then write stuff on the bottom of the blocks like.. take 2 drinks, take a shot, social, punch the person to your left etc... use your imagination. Whoever knocks down the the tower is the "*****" for the next round and has to refill everyones drinks, do push ups, etc.. once again use your imagination. This gets really fun when you have guys and girls playing and hard liquor becomes involved.

bear pong is one of my favorites. Or play any card game everyone knows how to play, nothing like poker something simple like go fish. Make up the rules like every time you have to go fish you take a drink. Also you can slow the process of getting drunk by making mixed drinks and instead of taking a shot every time you loose you can take a gulp of the mixed drink. If you have some $ and some time go to SPENCER'S. in any mall they have a lot of cool drinking games.

Beer pong! We have this new game.. it involves a karaoke mic tho... =) We chose a random song and each person sings it for 45 seconds to 1 minute, wether they know the song or not...and if their score is lower than 65 ..the person takes a shot. Its fun for us..cos we're tone deaf haha =)

We also have another game (involves a deck of cards). We call it kill the rat. Basically everybody get 1 card but they cant see it. The way to reveal the card is you stick it on your fourhead..so everybody can see the card but yourself. Then you see everybody's cards...you make a judgment if your card is higher than theirs... if you think it is then you say "I'm good" if you think your card is lower you take the card of your fourhead and put it down on the table..then your out. So after everybody is done with their "i'm good" or "fold" ...whoever have the lowest card (A)..they take a shot.

KINGS CUP.
you place a deck of cards around an empty cup. then you go around in a circle and each person choses a card. the rules are as follows. Draw an:
A- face (lick the card, stick it to your forehead and drink until it falls off)
2- you (you get to chose someone to drink)
3- me (you take a drink)
4- wh*res (all the girls take a drink)
5- 5 fingers (each person holds 5 fingers up and you go around the circle and each person says something they have never done. then all the people who have done that thing have to put down a finger. whoever goes out first takes a biiiiiiig drink)
6- d*cks (all the men drink)
7- waterfall (everyone drinks at the same time. and you can only stop drinking when the person before you stops drinking)
8- mates (you chose a partner and from that point on any time that person has to drink you have to drink too and vice versa)
9- rhyme (1st person choses a word and then around the circle the rest of the group rhymes with that word until someone doesnt think of a word or repeats a word)
10- categories (1st person choses a category and people have to name things in that category until a word is repeated or someone can't think of a word)
J- thumbmaster (this person is the thumbmaster until the next jack is pulled. this person will put their thumb down on the table and then everyone has to follow and put their thumbs down. last person to put down a thumb has to drink)
Q- rule (you get to make up any rule you want)
K- kings cup (you pour as much of your drink into the empty cup in the middle, whomever gets the last K has to drink the entire cup. its best with lots of random alcohol)

Put in your favorite movie or show on dvd ,
put the names of all major characters or locations in a hat have everyone willing to play draw a name one at at time and when there name or location comes up in the show they drink....if you where watching 24 on dvd and you picked jack ryan your probably gonna die early but if you get pres. palmer you might live a little longer- and every one would drink if they say "CTU". the rules are flexable and have fun wiith it..we drink as a group every time Jack grabs some ones collar to yell at them. Try this with movie -Tv- Football Baseball... it works with anything.

Play with beer cups on a table an try to bounce the quarters into the cup. Whoever makes the coin in first wins, looser drinks.

7's - you have to go around counting 1-2-3....but you cannot say any number with a 7 in it like 37, 73 and so forth, you also cannot say a multiple of 7 like 14, 28. if you say a seven or multiple of you have to drink

quarters - everyone sit around the table put a short cup in the middle like a coffee mug bounce the quater on the table if it lands in the cup you get to make someone drink - if you get 3 in a row into the cup you get to make a rule like "when ever a quart goes in everyone in a red shirt drinks"

chandelier - a variation of quarters - you need a bunch of small cups juice cups or coffee mugs - one for each person - then you take one tall glass - put the tall glass in the middle of the table and then everyone slide there small glass up to it in front of themselves - to look like a chandelier - then everyone pour 1 shot of what they are drinking into the tall glass - you bounce the quarter - if it lands in someone cup they drink - if it lands in your own glass you drink - but if you get it in the center cup with the mix of everyones drinks - you get to pick who has to drink the middle cup - they have to drink from that big glass to get the quarter out

PS - be ware of alcohol poisening - it is very real and college students die from it every year!!

1) get 4 or more packs of beer (w/e kind you like.)

2) drink, drink drink

3) while you drink make talley marks on how many bottles/cans of beeryou drink

4) in the morning, 1st place prize goes to the most beers drank and the 2nd place goes to biggest hangover


PS do not play this game often. it literally may kill you if you play this more than like 2 times a month
