i always had a short temper but i never knew how to deal with it. The smallest thing could make me mad at the whole world which is bad. I hate that b/c dats how ppl in school view me as and they dont want to be my friend b/c they think im going to jump them or something. Im a very nice person and i need help showing ppl in school that i could be positive and happy.could u please give me tips on how to let things go and be posisitive?? thanx

Anger is a hard emotion to control. Each of us has to find a way to control it ourselves. First off, you are aware you have a problem with it and you want to control it, that is very positive. The second thing is to find out why you are so angry to begin with because this is the real reason you let things irritate you and you lose control with everything and take it out on the whole world around you. Third figure out something that will make you stop and think before you react when you are starting to get pissed and go off the handle and that is what you are going to have to do each and everytime you feel mad. It won't happen over night but in time you will get stronger and stronger because each time you will become more aware of what you are doing, so one day you won't have to think as much about it as you will be in control.

For # 1 Start by Not letting what people do or say get to you, Who cares, Like the old saying goes Sticks and stones may break my bones But names can never hurt me.

#2 Stop and think about what your about to do, is this person worth me getting exspelled from school for? Is this person worth me getting up set over..... There is no one on this EARTH worth pushing me to my limit.... Im not saying stand there and let them hit you no way, but words just laugh and walk away.

I had that problem before also a few gfs of mine did as well.
A few suggestions is: working out (gym), uplifting music, think of happy thoughts when you're tempted to get angry, also anger management. The main thing that keeps you happy is Jesus once you get Jesus in your life, you'll be as peaceful as ever. visit www.myspace.com/christxjesus.
