You Don't! First the puppies need the socialization and love in order to be confident and happy as adults, IMO. It will always feel like sending one of your babies away from home. What I always tried to do was to really make sure that my babies are going to good homes. Just because someone is willing to pay for your puppy is no reason to sell. I usually start corresponding with the prospective owner immediately. Every few days get in contact with them. Send them pictures of the pup. If the new owner every balks at any of this I find it fishy. Most people who are looking for a puppy truely are interested in every aspect of their growing and life. It helps them figure out what the puppies personality might be like as adults. Just remember that you are a breeder and you did make the decision to breed them.

To the person who said don't play with them as much, that is retarted because these puppies need socialization. It is impossible not to get attached to them, but I name all of mine. Just make sure that you screen homes really well and know that they are going to great homes that will keep in contact with you. If you would like a copy of the questionnaire I use for people to apply for one of my puppies, send me an email. Also, these puppies should go with a spay/neuter contract... I also have one if you don't. To prevent more litters. If you end up keeping on or more, make sure you spay and neuter to prevent line breeding too much.
Just love them like they were your own and then let them go to good homes. It is going to be hard either way so just enjoy the memory's and their company.

It will be really hard, and you will get attached to them, trust me. I had the same thing happen with some kittens I had. Try not to give them special names. If you give them a name that really means a lot to you, I find you are more likely to have a hard time parting with them. It might sound cruel, but remind yourself that you can't keep all of them, as much as you might want to.

Good luck finding homes for all of them. Good homes of course. If you haven't already. you must get your dog spayed. Love the puppies. You let this happen, so don't deny them the love they deserve. You will just have to suck it up wont you.Remember the over population of dogs and cats. Many dying because no one wants them.

There is no way to not get attached! It's really hard to let them go, but it's some consolation to know that they will have good homes and lots of love.

It is very hard to do, however you need to put their needs first and realize that you alone can not give them all of the love and attention they need and want. I foster puppies and always tell myself that each one deserves someone who will love them and spoil them, which can't be done if all of the dogs/puppies live with you.

Its Impossible! When my dog had puppies we gave them lots of love and care. As sad as I was to let them go, it made me feel good to see them go off to a good home.â¥
