I can't see HOW they would work.

I don't quite know what you want to include with financial constraints, race, gender, etc.

The two don't know each other. The key in ANY relationship is build a strong friendship, move to a more serious relationship, and after the honeymoon stage is over, consider marriage if that so fits the couple.

Two strangers forced to marry? That just doesn't sound like a winner there.

It can, but arranged marriages are not based on love. They tend to be based on who has money to buy a wife or how wealthy are person is. My parent's marriage was arranged and my parents never really got a long. However, they stayed together because that's what you are supposed to do in the Asian culture. There is no such thing as divorce because you are disgracing your family if you divorce. I don't believe in them because you are unable to choose who you want to be with. My parents do not believe in marrying someone from a different racial background. Since I was brought up here my views on marriage and customs are a lot more open minded than my parents. There are a lot of people who do pre arranged marriages with women from a different countries who don't speak English and bring them to the states. I think that is sad because the women usually just want a green card and not the guy. So, to me pre arranged marriages suck. Only you..not other people..know who is best for you!

i'd be antagonistic to an prepared marriage, because you would no longer understand what youre shifting into. I wouldnt be antagonistic to an creation, see you later as I had the right to reveal down the fellow. that could't extremely damage, accurate? My dad and mom met via an prepared creation and theyre nevertheless going solid after 30 years. also, the "in love" feeling is fleeting. that is a very extremely uncommon element that marrying because youre in love will very last. genuine love, previous "in love" takes much better than that.

Amazingly almost all of the time they do. I have taken many trips to India and almost all weddings in one of my friends family were arranged. I think it's because the guy and girl meet at a young age so they grow and connect with each other so when they get older they want to marry each other.

yup they do..i mean if they're not forced or anything. Your parents aren't your enemies they would only choose the best for you.

I think it depends on the couple going into the marriage and their frame of mind, and their expectaions,AND the customs from their respective countries, some of which you have no choice, and could have your head chopped off,I in that case could be a really happy groom,OH YAH!!!!

Think about it would you want to marry someone you do not love? It would be hard to spend the rest of your life with that person if you do not have any interest to share.

They only work because the women are subservient to the husband and divorce is frowned upon.
