i dont believe that car dealers can possibly sell all the new cars they get each year what happens to them since there are never any leftovers from more than 1 year

These "slow selling" vehicles get marked down in price to sell easily. These are also the vehicles that you see advertised for 0% interest rate (to those who qualify)

Also, when you go to a dealership and tell them you're looking for a specific vehicle and they don't have it, they place a phone call to surrounding dealerships and have them transferred over.

Eventually they ALL get sold.

They keep discounting them until they are all sold. Check your local car dealer ads or go to a dealer lot around january and you will see rebates all over the place. Once the year rolls over and they arent sold the manufacturer really increases the rebates to sell them faster. If money is all you are concerned about and you don't mind the off color then you can get a really smokin deal early in the year. Sometimes they will last until early summer on some models.

They are sold as new next year or used as program cars and sold as used later in the year.

I think they melt them down and make next years model out of them.
