I think they are both great martial arts. I practice Muay Thai myself, but have friends who train in different types of Kenpo. Both are great striking arts. Kenpo is more self defense while I think Muay Thai is more aggressive. I would have to say the Muay Thai fighter would win if both fighters are evenly skilled in their style.

Muay Thai because they train to actually fight (in the ring) plus from what I see in kenpo, the way they block kicks is really bad! It could get them seriously injuried easily.

I watched the clips ... the ground VERY INTERESTING!!! put it this way ..Its NOT what i had expected... but thanks you brought back memories when I used to tap dance & play with two spoons and smack my leg for a rhythm.
back to the question : the speed is fantastic... but the set up is horrific! no mauy thai fighter will just stand there and maybe this video doesnt do the style any justice but ... the wind up alone is telegraphic & for that reason a fluid mauy thai guy trained for strength and speed and the most important effectiveness would win in this battle.
its good to see akk guys can take a hit though!

it fairly is arguably the appropriate stand-up martial artwork, shown to be efficient interior the hoop time and time back. Boxing is likewise marvelous, yet muay thai additionally contains knees, kicks, elbows, and the clinch so is greater finished than boxing. i've got experienced distinctive martial arts, and that i've got got here upon muay thai to be between the main efficient arts, it fairly is basically weak spot is the lack of ability of floor grappling. i'm hoping this recommendation replaced into clever good success!
