I have the same problem. I usually straighten out my hair but on occasion I like to wear out my curls. I use Infusium 23 3 minute treatment, rinse. Let it air dry or keep a towel on my head for 10-15 minutes. (I'm usually doing something, like picking out clothes or a quick toe nail polish) I then apply Pantene Pro-V Restorative Breakage Defense (detangling leave in), not too much because it will make curls crunchy. (I don't use hair spray, mousse, or gel) Let it dry then spray some Hask Pure Shine (Spray On Luminator).
Good luck!

While still wet, add a little and I mean A LITTLE hair serum. any kind will do. I've used "Frizz Ease" for years. The trick is to use very little, and mostly on the ends. It "weighs the hair down" and keeps the curls tighter.

try putting bumble and bumble defrizz on your hair before you let it dry, it weighs down the hair to prevent some of the frizz.
ouidad also has an excellent line of products for wavy and curly hair.

If you rub some de-frizz serum it it, it works.. the only thing is finding which serum works for you. For me, Sunsilk De-Frizz, and also Bedhead GirlToys; Shine serum works really well.

when your hair is still damp put hairspray on it in layers so all the hair gets some spray on it. use a mousse or cream on the roots

Try blow drying it. Trust me it works. My hair is natural curly (so curly it's insane) and I blow dry so it doesn't get frizzy. When I blow dry it's silky smooth.
