If you want something good and want to impress somebody with your "cooking skills" get two 12 oz bags of frozen blueberries, preferably wild Maine blueberries :-), and a pint of nice vanilla ice cream. Once home, preheat the oven to 375 degrees (F). Pour the frozen berries into an 8x8 pan. In a bowl mix together 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup slivered almonds, 3/4 cup brown sugar, a teaspoon of cinnamon and 6 tablespoons of butter. When it's well mixed to a crumbly texture, sprinkle it over the blueberries and pop the pan in the oven for about 30 minutes, until the fruit is bubbly, the topping is brown and it smells so good the neighbors are drooling at your door. Serve warm topped with the ice cream.

Ice cream is the best option if you're buying your dessert from a store. Cookies or a cake are best if you're planning to make them yourself.

If I had a dessert genie and he could blink up any dessert in the world for me... I'd have him blink a black berry pie made with home made sugar/cinnamon crust and a little striping of icing decorating the top. Now since I don't have a genie.. I could.. buy a pie .. any of Mrs Smith's that you bake yourself and mix up some powdered sugar a shot of vanilla and a little milk and when the pie is cooled drizzle it decoratively. ice cream is optional :) yummy

If you want something quick and home made.
Buy: canned pie filling of your choice (two big tins)
large flake/old fashioned oats
butter
brown sugar
little bit of flour (optional)
salt, Cinnamon, almond flavoring (optional)
Put the pie filling in a baking dish.Add 1/2 tsp almond to cherry or peach fillings stir to mix. Dot with butter.
In a big mixing bowl beat 1/2 cup or one stick of butter with a cup or so of brown sugar until light.
Add a cup or two of oatmeal. If you don't want it as crumbly add 1/4 cup of flour. Mix. Add Cinnamon or vanilla and a little salt if desired and mix until fully incorporated with the butter/br. sugar for a crumbly topping.
Bake at 350 until the filling starts bubbling up through the topping and your kitchen smells good -approx. 35 mins. I guess. "fruit crumble" more healthy and homemade
