I've dyed my hair by myself since i was 11, but i have a question...

Last time i dyed my hair was in october 06 with a simi permenent black, so the color is pretty faded.

Now i have clip in extentions that are black (got them in dec 06)

Can I dye my hair a light/medium brown without bleaching it AND can i dye my extentions that color.
(i can dye the extentions, i just don't want them to turn out a dif color)

you'll have to remove your color with a tint remover, and then recolor with a brown. it should be done by a stylist, and if done correctly won't be horribly damaging. you can color your extensions ONLY if they are 100% human hair.

If you try to dye over black, you're not going to get what you want. Trust me, I've done it. I would recommend trying to wash as much of what's left out of your hair as possible first. Then you can dye it--otherwise you'll end up with zebra stripes. Black really attaches to your hair, even in places you might think it is faded.
