Hi I just looked at your dress and I must say it's the typical look of a very expensive designer dress that brides are wearing now a days. I have a cousin who was married last September and spent $20,000.00 (YEAH THAT'S WHAT I SAID) on her dress and it didn't look like a years pay to me. If you know what I mean, This dress that you have picked is just perfect do a partial updo with your hair if you have long enough hair to do so and put some beautiful jewel encrusted bobby pins or haircombs. And have a beautiful wedding! Oh one final thought you could also play off the color of your bridesmaid dress by putting a matching shash or tie around your waist that is the color of the bridesmaid dresses

Congrats on the wedding. I have heard that some brides will buy a bridemaids dress if the wedding is less formal ,an elopment or a destination wedding. I say wear what you want. Its your day and the dress is beautiful. It actually looks like a wedding gown, no one will know the difference!
Basically there is no right or wrong dress. Wear what suites you.

I think it's wonderful. Not everyone has to wear a "traditional dress" if it's what you love then it's the best dress for you. It's your day and you can do whatever you want. It's an added bonus that you got to save some money! Congrats and I hope your wedding day is beautiful!

I think its really pretty, very light and flowy and if you like it then thats all that really matters. I didn't get a bridesmaid dress, but had I seen one that I liked as much as my wedding dress I bought you can bet big bux I would have gone for it too! I saw a girl on a wedding story one time that did it so its not unheard of...

Yes, people do it all the time. There are some comapnies that make what they call destination gowns, They are almost identical to bridesmaid dresses that the same company also makes. The bridesmaid dress are around half the price.

It doesn't matter what the store or designer calls it. If you bought it to wear for your wedding, then it's your wedding dress. I think it's beautiful!! I actually tried on some "wedding dresses" that looked alot like that when I was dress shopping for my wedding.

It's nice. My personal opinion is that wedding dresses are something we brides use, that are a waste of money. yes I bought a satin, super puffy, expensive wedding dress, but I'm sure on my wedding day I will feel as pretty as you do on your day. It's nice, and the type or title of the dress shouldn't matter.

Oh my! I think that it's super cute!
I don't think that it matters weather her or not it's labeled "Wedding dress". If you love it (and you should) then wear it!
Look, plenty of people just pick whats in at the moment and buy a dress for THOUSANDS of dollars, that they wear for a day and goes out of style a year later.
You purchased a beautifully elegant dress, and i think you will look amazing it in. You made a wise choice, and enjoy it!

I think its a very pretty simple dress. If thats your style then go for it its all about you and youre hubby on your wedding day anyway...and its a great money saving idea.

i imagine it truly is a most suitable plan, fantastically the inverted colorations for diverse roles! the genuine of the bridesmaids' outfits compliments your gown using an same fabrics amassing/flow without doing away without of your glamour.
