She's 11. Her life is not ruined, and she will have probably forgotten about this by next Friday. Tell her to forget about the snot nosed brats. They just like to hear themselves talk. There is no reason for her to be sad. This crap happened to me ages ago when I was abour her age, and guess what? The guy liked me back, and it ended up great. Tell her she has better things to worry about. Like good grades.

The best way to get out of this is for her to keep a level head. Being that age is not easy at the best of times and kids do have trouble keeping a secret. Tell her not to be too hard on the first girl she told the secret to. If she wants to feel better about herself ( and that's the most important thing, anyway) she needs to tell the first girl that she's changed her mind and likes someone else now, just don't tell who). Your Sister should leave it in the past now, and put it down to experience.

I'm not sure you have eperienced this before but here's a FEW tips.
1. Comfort your sister by telling her how beautiful she is.
2. Defend her.
3. Make a joke about the other girl. ANY joke should help.
4. Tell her if this is the worst thing that happens to her in her school years she's got it golden!
5. Take her out or do some other activity to get her mind off what is going on.

Are you older than her? Just go in there and try to make her laugh. Tell her when she goes back to school act like nothing ever happened. If someone mentions it to her tell her to tell them "so what,I think a lot of guys are hot, it doesn't mean anything" If someone is a complete butt and teases her about it, tell her to tell them
"Don't you have to go be stupid somewhere else?" After the first thing I told you to tell her to say. As for the girls...live and learn. Like I told my daughter, never tell anyone ANYTHING that you don't want repeated. People of all ages thrive on gossip. Not all people, but most. your sister can have many, many friends, but true loyal friends are hard to come by. Your a good sister for caring about her so much.

She's 11 years old for Crimmy's sake!....as far as the rumors and the gossipy little girls, just tell her that is an expected piece of life and not to take it personally. To hold her head high and she will stand out as a young girl to be respected...and if her 'crush' sees her as such he will at the very least form a good friendship with her. She's too young for anything else anyhow
Also remind her a secret is only a secret when it held by only one person [the person that has the secret] Once it is shared it ceases to be a secret and is subject to it being SPREAD.

Plz Let Me Help! It Happened 2 Me B4. Ok, your sister is experinceing the cruelty of kids from her school. Every single child faces this problem. First you MUST make her get it ALL out, if you dont then the next step wont work. Then you just need to avoid that situation. Get your sister to do something else, then make sure she NEVER BRINGS THAT SITUATION UP! NOT EVEN ABOUT SCHOOL! Soon she will forget, her friends (REAL friends) will comfort her at school on monday and people will forget!!! trust me it works!

She is only 11, things will get better for her.
You just have to let her know that you will always be there for her and help her through the rough times.
I had to learn when I was a kid to ignore people, however that doesn't really solve anything in the long run.
I don't know what to say, all I know is that just let her know you are there for her.
Good Luck, tell your sister that things WILL get better.

Forget those people! Don't worry about it girls, it will be yesterdays news by tomorrow. There are WAY cuter boys and (no offense) you don't need to worry 'bout that right now. Tell your sis it will be o.k. and try to take her mind off it by doing something she likes. Just ignore the rude or snotty girls at school.

She needs to let this guy know she likes him, either through someone else or tell him straight out. That will stop everything. If she is just way too shy, tell her she needs to just go along like nothing has happened and everyone will get over it. The more she dramatizes over the whole thing the longer it will take for everyone to get over it. I'd say it will be old news within a week. It seems like forever, but everyone will forget it before she knows it.
