Is 100 lumens bright?

will i be able to spot stuff from far away will it be blinding light?

i am looking at a shure fire flashlight.

100 lumens is dull. There are ways to modify a mag lite with three tiny L.E.D. bulbs. the kit will cost about 10 bucks at wal-mart. that is the cheepest way to go. Bright too. You can buy a spotlight that can reflect off the clouds.

According to Wikipidea

A standard 100 watt incandescent light bulb emits approximately 1700 lumens

So, 100 lumens is not that much! But in a flashlight, with some mirror amplification, it may be OK
