how do I transform a regular song to karaoke???

This can be done to some extent usually with an editing program like Audacity.

Note that use of certain songs in such a way in public performance or redistribution may be subject to copyright license restrictions. This is one reason karaoke songs are done by someone other than the original artist.

There are many free programs on the web that will allow you to do that but usually they cannot remove it completely and it leaves the backing track sounding tinny. It mostly depends on the dynamic range and recording techniques used on the song.

Google: karaoke, voice remover, vocal remover, and you will find plenty of freeware programs that can perform this for you.
