Does anyone know if there is a link between drinking alcohol (lager) and shoulder problems. Whenever my husband starts to drink more his shoulder flares up, the doctors don't know wht to suggest!!

Could be repetitive strain injury - too many lifts to the mouth with the same arm holding the larger.

If he only gets shoulder pain when he drinks there is most likely a connection.

Can't believe the doc never suggested "Stop drinking"

he should stop drinking lager. alcohol messes with the chemical balance of your brain and it is possible that it has interfered with the pain receptors

oh my God that answer was funny...I can't believe the doctors haven't suggested to stop drinking either? What kinda wacko does your husband go too ..Dr. Bud Weiser MD?

who knows but does this happen with other forms of alchohol or just lager?

stop drinking? it could be the start of gout and its very unpleasant.
