nothing fancy but i want to get my moneys worth. its just for home videos of the family and stuff. should i go with the ones that have a mini dvd or the ones with a memory card? and what the whole pixel thing all about? please someone help??!!! id like to buy one this weekend.......

Right now the best for your money is a MiniDv camcorder. It uses a tape, but is digital. They are quite a bit cheaper than DVD or hard drive cameras, but take video at higher quality because it is not compressed. One drawback is that MiniDV doesn't allow you to find clips without fastforwarding through scenes.

buy NIKKON from circuit city... thats what i have,, and its really good
