if your hair is naturally wavy or curly, any maximum hold hair spray will work. if its naturally straight, then you should use a scrunch or sprunch spray. i say use aussie sprunch spray. leave your hair damp or wet after you take a shower or just get your hair wet. then tie about two thirds of it up. spray the hairspray all other the hair thats left down. usually when i do this, i use a sprunch spray first. then with your hands, "scrunch" your hair with your hands by putting an open palm at the bottom of the hair and pushing it up against your head. then after spray it with a maximum holding spray. then untie the hair that was up. let a little more fall down and tie the hair on top of your head up. do the same thing to this hair and then to the last layer of hair. depending on how long and thick your hair is, this takes about 10 minutes on long, medium thick hair

all you do is when you get out of the shower towel dry it slightley but not to rough as to break up the waves put some mouse in your hair that is for bouncy curls, any mouse will work flip your hair over or turn your head to the side so hair falls striahg down and push hair upwards towards your scalp then put in a bit of jel to hold curls while still scrunching the hair uptowards your scalp, add some hairspray and continue scrunching... spray once more and that should be done... PS this works easier on naturally curly hair or wavy hair if you have REALLY straight hair it may not work properly you might want to curl it with a small curling iron then break up the curls with mouse and hahirspray Good Luck hope you figure it out hope i helped:D

John Frieda Frizz Ease Curl Perfecter

Though don't use too much, it dries out your hair. You use a little on damp hair. I sparay it on, scrunch and then, for extra curlyness sleep with my hair in a bun to make it very bouncy. WARNING! if you do the bun, don't, I repeat DON'T brush your hair in the morning, it will turn into frizz city!

You can buy this in Boots (UK) or if you live in USA probably Walmart or some other drugstore.

Alternatives would be a perm (ick, no!) or curlers. Or for waves, use salt spray (mix salt and water and put in a vapouriser. Spray this on dry hair. This is recommended even by top-market salons!

When I kept my hair curly I would use a gel or Aussie scrunch spray. With gel, you can put in enough and let it air dry. The scrunch spray can do the same thing or you can blowdry your hair upside down on low heat or the cool blasts, scrunching your hair while you do it.

I use Biolage Gelee` and all I do is put some in your hand (depending on how long/thick you hair is) rub your hands together then flip your head upside down. Once you have done that put your hands at the tip of your hair and scrunch it up all over until you have the look you desire. Simple enough.

the best way to do it is when you get out of the shower, dry your hair just a little bit, so water isnt dripping, but make sure your hair is still wet.then pput extra hold mouse, and apply hairspray.then you scrumch your hair, which is bacically taking your hair and squishing your hair to make curls, then last 1 but not least blow dry your hair

Here's a good video including scrunching:

Use a curling cream or mousse rather than a gel.
