Well me and my bf have been going out for 1 month and last night before i got off the phone with him he told me that he loved me. The problem if that i dont feel the same way. Ya i like him i just dont know about love. What should i do???

I've been in that same situation.
The guy is great! He's wonderful and...you just don't know if it's really love you feel for him.
It's great that he's professed his love for you, but if you really don't love him right now, don't tell him that you do. You're going to lead him on and force emotions upon yourself that you don't have yet.
You're mature--you realize your true feelings. Tell him something like "I want to love you, but right now I'm just not there yet. I really do life you!"
NEVER give in and say that you love him just because you don't want him to feel awkward. It's better that he knows the truth than a lie.

The best thing you can do is talk about it...
Given enough time you may fall in love with him and if you don't it wont be the end of the world and if he is willing to give it time then he is probably worth keeping but if he loses it because you don't necessarily love him back then the relationship isn't very healthy... and you don't wanna lead him on saying you love him back because if you do then you may never fall in love and you could hurt him a lot in the end...
So you best option is to talk about it and establish how you feel about the situation.

Well, it's only been a month, so don't rush into it. If he keeps saying he loves you and waits for you to say something back, be gentle and tell him that while you really like him, you're not sure if you love him yet or not, and when you figure that out, he'll be the first one to know. If he keeps making you feel uncomfortable, why not ask him to stop saying I love you until you're ready to start saying it?

one thing u should always be is be honest with him be honest but not 2 tha pt were it would hurt him u tell him that u come understand that he loves u n all but rite now u care bout him n that love is a serious step a step in which u r not goin 2jump into that u want 2 get 2 know him first even if u know him 4 a min u only know him as a frind not as a man

If you dont feel that way than dont say you love him back just make it clear to him that you really really like him but your just not ready for that yet. I think he should understand because some people just arent ready for that at times especially not after a month. Do what your heart tells you to do.

You should just say, Joe, I have to tell you, I think love is wonderful. But I also know, that I can not love someone , truly love them, in one month. That, is just caring, or infatuation. I really like you have a great time with you, but ...lets put love where it belongs, down the road.

listen. people tell eachother they "love" eachother after a month or so to show more effection then "like". He has feelings for you and he wanted to express them in a big way so he said "love". you cant love someone after a month. it has to be longer like a few months to really know what your heart is feeling.
what you should do is, tell him ( if you do ) you have feelings for him but you dont wanna say you love him just now until you really feel sure.
Believe me, saying " i love you" too soon in a relationship just means they're trying to show you effection bigger then " i like you" but smaller then " i love you". its a obvious mistake people make, they get mixed up with " love" and " feelings".

never feel the presure to say i love you when you dont. if you feel comfortable you can bring this topic up with your boyfriend, and just tell him how you feel. its okay not to love your boyfriend right when he says he loves you, there is nothing wrong with that.
And youve only been going out a month.
if you dont feel comfortable about bringing this up yourself, he may ask you about it. if he does, you can just tell him that youre not ready for that step in your relationship.

well u can tell him that u can't tell if u r in love yet. I mean one month is a pretty short month to know if he loves u. I am not doubting him or anything but if he said it h probably meant it. But if u don't know; don't tell!

I am in love with 7 people and i cant choose but i love them all so heres my advice. You should just go on with your relationship and when it keeps deeper you will know. Hope it works out.
