I am a nanny and I watch two amazing kids who are 3 and 5. Unfortunately, the 3 year old is HIGHLY allergic to dairy products and has acid reflux. He is so limited in what he can eat, but he loves to cook. The problem is that he can never eat anything that we make. I need quick easy recipes that the kids can help out with that don't use eggs, milk, or products from either of these. They love desserts. Any suggestions?

How about no-bake cookies?

This recipe calls for milk, but you can substitute soy milk (I've tried it and they're equally good!) if the little one can tolerate soy.

I'm not sure how quick these recipes would be, but I love this cookbook! We bake from scratch and although its a big mess with a toddler, it does work.

Anything Vegan will not have dairy in it.

Also, Rice Krispie Treats can be made without butter. The butter is mainly for keeping the marshmallows from sticking to the pan while they melt! You could use a little bit of corn oil or olive oil. Or maybe fake butter? I don;t know if margarine has any dairy in it!

What about Rice Crispy squares? Or would that fall into the "can't eat" category? They are quick and easy and kids LOVE making them.
