For the most part the church has since knowledge faith. It is only mental ascent. We say we believe it, but we are not willing to act on it. Since knowledge faith looks so much like real faith that few are able to tell the difference. Since knowledge faith says that it is true, but it will not act on it. Since knowledge faith does not believe until it has physical evidence.
We trust in products to do what they are advertised to do, but we do not trust in the Bible that what is advertised there will be done.
Faith: In Mat 17:14-20 Jesus tells his disciples who had already been casting devils out of people that the reason why they could not cast this one out was because of their unbelief. This was after making a comment about faithlessness. They had to have faith. They had already been casting out devils, but here he tells them that they don’t have enough, and starts talking about the mustard seed. The church today just doesn’t understand what he was saying about the mustard seed. It grows into a mighty tree, but the church is content to leave their faith as a tiny seed. The tiny seed is not going to cast out devils. Devils are not afraid of the tiny seed, but they are afraid of the mighty tree that the seed can grow into, so they try to prevent it from growing by telling us that all we need is the seed.

Most of failures works through god, because, God is testing and He wants Christians or others to give fully attention to god before mankind. Some of failures like own intention, prayers won't answer right away, because of may be lack of Faith and not pleased God by doing, being, spiritual follower. Always has to be God's time to answer, and God knows what's best for each indiual. to please god all have to work hard to receive benefits. One is Faith. The rest is have to practice, and live a spiritual life.

Of course. And its not the fact of their faith, but people have a hard time seeing threw themselves, even Christians. Its better to just let God handle it becuase one human cannot change another only God can change a person and the way they think. Every Christian grows on a daily basis, no one is perfect. But what makes you a good Christian is how much you try.

Absolutely, but then again we, because we're in this flesh try our hardest to do things on our own, so I mean they could have the faith, but not truely releasing it God's hands. Another reason could be that they just don't want to hear it or that they don't have a true grasp on the real concept of faith. Lastly what they've asked for may not be in His will, therefore not meant for them

Who are you to question a person's faith? How would you know?
I didn't realize faith could be measured... either you have it, or you don't, right?
It's the same thing as telling people that their prayers aren't answered because they prayed wrong.... Their prayers aren't answered because no one is listening!

of course- that is why Jesus told us to "die to self " daily. All that means is start depending on Him and not ourselves for what we need.
It is hard to keep from thinking " look at what I have done " or wanting to have people pat us on the back for a job well done but a humble person gives GOD the glory for the works that are done through their life and remembers that without God we can do nothing. ( not even breathe )

As a Christian I would say it`s not the amount of faith that causes us to fail at times,but the amount of unbelief that we allow to come in threw the things of this world.

yes
although, the Disciples were acting in His name and rarely failed unless they faltered in their faith of God and Jesus. You're referring to people failing in everyday acts for themselves, and such things aren't related to God.

oh yes, the human ego, no matter how holy the man, gets in the way of a great many things, the most humble are usually the most holy, but those that proclaim to be holy are usually the least.;
