I know everyone has been to a concert and stood next to a huge speaker and felt a "boom" in their chest. So my question is; is there a "lethal" frequency or volume?
Also, on the other side of the spectrum, could the vibrations caused by bass at a certain volume be used as some sort of sonar defibulator?
..ok, i'm kind of reaching here, but it just crossed my mind.

Around 150 decibels of sound, regardless of frequency, would rupture internal organs. The Krakatoa explosion generated sound at levels of around 120 decibels, so we are talking about inhumanly loud sound. Since humans are composed of several different substances, there is no one frequency that can cause bad damage, but I imagine the right combination of them could hurt people. Have you ever seen the 'Galloping Gurdy'? That bridge that vibrates around back and forth? It was on a TV ad many years ago; all of that vibration was caused by the sound of the wind whistling through the cables, and the fact that the bridge was made of a material that resonated at the frequency that the wind produced. Quite fascinating.

The only way I can think of that would make them lethal would be if the pressure built up inside of you, but that would necessitate incredibly high decibel levels of sound being blown right into you. Very unlikely.

What has style of people verses the style of roaches, fungi...etc . have been given to do with something!? not to indicate some meant dying of the soul by potential of way of awareness.
