i know this sounds kinda weird but vicks vapor rub. I am so serious it really works. you know how when you have chapped lips it takes days to heal using chap stick use this and the next day they are like new, just try not to get it in your mouth it tastes kinda nasty but its also an analgesic so it takes the pain away too. but on the first application it will sting. i use it all the time and it totally works. if you try it let me know what you think.
