I'm looking for an affordable set to start the season. I'm an OK player and I don't want a starter/beginner set.

i just bought the adams ladies PINK set, they weren't too bad in cost and have a great set of hybrids, if you don't like regular irons..
good luck

Check out Square Two, which specializes in women's clubs. They are very affordable because they don't advertise as much as the big boys. Also, unlike the big companies, they recognize that women come in different sizes and abilities and they make a variety of club lengths and shaft flexes for women. Also try Nancy Lopez golf clubs. All of you who answered Cobra or Callaway missed the point -- she wants an affordable set of clubs.

Try Callaway or Cleveland. I used to hit Callaways but, I gave them to my mom when I got my new Cleveland ones. They are both great companies that make great clubs. I would definitly not get anything else. Those are your two best bets! And that is what my cousin said, he is a golf professional and he fits people for clubs every day. good luck!!
