as said, stress affect people in different ways.
one common 'symptom' is when you get really irritated by others and tend to snap a lot, things that would not normally bother you suddenly become major issues.
causes of stress are just as widespread, relationships, work, debt, health worries etc can all lead to stress.
one thing that you can do that is really simple and effective is to make a note of anything that could be bothering you, no matter how small, or even if you have it under control.
then work through the list one by one until you are sure everything is accounted for and that you are in control of it.
stress tends to magnify problems, once you know in your own mind that everything is under control then you should see some results.
if work related then you need to have a word with your boss, by law they must try to ease your workload if it is causing you stress....but if you do not mention it, they cannot do anything about it.

I am affected by stress, but so is everybody and we are all different. Everybody needs a degree of stress which is the antithesis of "boredom". People watch exciting movies to give themselves more stress and enjoy it. Others may do this by going on a high speed roller coaster or something similar.

But too much stress, particularly if work related, increases your production of certain hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline and continued exposure can lead to mental and physical symptoms such as anxiety and depression, indigestion, palpitations and muscular aches and pains. "Relaxation techniques" like yoga and meditation consciously release muscular tension to try to achieve a state of mental calm to combat the harmful effects of too much stress.

Stress can affect you in alot of ways!! It makes your body release a hormone called cortisol which is reallly bad for people that are dieting because this keeps that extra weight around your belly. Plus, stress just runs you down. It affects your mood, relationships, and basically your whole life!!!
